FE-Live
FE is a performance about the inevitable transformations we experience throughout the cycle of life, until the final transition: life – death – life.
Rather than imagining what may exist on the other side, FEinvites us to reflect on the small metamorphoses and constant changes that shape us throughout our lives.
Musically, the performance unfolds through seven spaces, where poetry in Spanish explores the bond between mother and daughter, family heritage, memory and transmission.
Liliana Zavala’s rhythmic influences meet the distinctive voices of five outstanding musicians, who investigate and transform these musical traditions through improvisation, creating new spaces together in the moment.
The music exists in constant dialogue with dancer Yaneisy Báez Aceda, whose movement and self-created costumes embody and reinforce the central idea of transformation.
Through this continuous feedback between music, movement, poetry and visual expression, FEbecomes a living and evolving space where every element is transformed by the others.
FE is a journey through memory, inheritance and transformation — from life, through death, and back to life.

For ethical reasons, I choose to release my music only on selected platforms. For environmental reasons, I do not produce physical albums—although, in honor of my mother, I am considering releasing FE on vinyl, as she loved listening to music on the record player at home.
